The 2022 marks our fifth vintage release of the ‘Two Terraces Vineyard’ Chenin Blanc.  

Chenin Blanc ripens late in the season, and for this reason the full imprint of seasonal character is evident. The 2022 is perhaps our richest version yet. It has volume, texture, and length we have not seen in previous vintages. The pressed juice immediately revealed pronounced ripe citrus and apple characters with racy acidity.  Rather than try to tame this precocious character we decided to match it with long maturation in our stone egg tank and maximise the yeast lees influence. This coupled with a full malolactic ferment has produced a fuller bodied Chenin Blanc.

Radiant in the glass with pale straw colour with pronounced green hues.  Aromas of ripe apple, dusted with subtle spicy notes and hints of almond icing characterise the nose.  Similar characters coat the palate and is framed by balanced acidity and long finish.
