2025 “Two Terraces Vineyard” Gamay Pinot Noir

from $45.00

In 1395, Duke Philippe the Bold exiled Gamay from Burgundy in favour of Pinot Noir, dividing two noble varieties that once shared a home. Centuries later—and quite unintentionally—we’ve brought them back together.

Our tenth vintage working with Gamay was meant to be just that—Gamay. But after harvest, DNA testing revealed that some of the vines we thought were Gamay, are in fact, Pinot Noir. The result? A serendipitous blend that closes a 600-year-old loop in the most delicious way. Philippe would be livid.

2025 is a fabulous vintage. This has plenty of ripe fruit, enveloped by a satin like texture. Chill it a little and you have the perfect summer red.

Sourced from the meticulously farmed Two Terraces Vineyard in Maraekakaho, this single-vineyard wine was made with our signature artisanal approach: hand-harvested, whole-bunch fermented, foot-stomped, and matured in seasoned puncheons.
